What does it take to be a writer, like part time? For online sites, or an advice column in a magazine or newspaper? How on earth does one go about trying out "writing on the side?"
I'm just getting caught on your blog. I'm waaaaay behind!
There's a blogger I follow that is a writer. She wrote a novel but hasn't had it published yet. However, I'm pretty sure she's had some magazine articles and things like that published. Post something on her blog, and I know she'll respond. I use to have her email address but I can't seem to find it now.
http://mepschronicles.blogspot.com/ - her name is Mary.
She's really nice, and I know she can give you some tips.
You're a really great writer. Very articulate and interesting. I'm sure you'll be able to sell some of your writing.
